After surgery
After surgery, your neck may feel tight. In addition to your pressure dressing, you will have sutures at your incision sites, and you may have a small tube in your neck to drain fluids that may collect under your skin.
Once you recover from the anesthesia, you will be able to return home with a friend or family member to drive you. Dr. Engineer will remove the drain 2-3 days after your procedure. He will remove the stitches in approximately one week, and check in on you to ensure you’re doing well.
